We are having a Christmas meal in Villaggio on Saturday the 5th of December starting at 7pm for 7:30. The price per head, including the service charge, is £22 but this does not include drinks or a coffee afterwards.
If enough people would prefer it, we could increase the charge to cover some bottles of wine and coffee. Can you respond to this message please saying which you would prefer.
More details, including the menu, are available on the coming events page on the website at this link http://www.manchesterconcord.org.uk/comingevents.htm

Hello Mary,

I glad to make a firm booking now and it is my diary. I don't yet know if I'll be staying over and it is more likely I will be driving home afterwards. For that reason I would prefer to keep alcoholic drinks as a separate element to be bought by those who are able to enjoy them.

Hi Mary,

Put me down for two tickets please. I think I would go along with arranging our own drinks.

Hello Mary,

Put me down for a ticket too, and I'm with Pauline & Elaine as regarding drinks in letting people organise their own.

I have had a number of responses to my query about including drinks in the price and everyone has said dont do it, so I will leave things as they are with the price at £22 a head not including drinks or after meal coffee.

I agree that the drinks should be paid for by the individual otherwise we run the risk of paying for someones extreme drinking habits (ok my extreme drinking habits)

I suspect I speak for many, but can only really do so for myself, when I offer thanks to Mary for once again organising and making happen yet another Concord event.

Villagio is well known to many of us and it was good to see it packed with so many of us. The staff did their best to keep us well fed and it was good to see the art of lively, even boisterous, conversation is very much alive amongst some of us. I was almost in fear of having to avoid swinging handbags at one point!

Thanks to all of our committee who keep these events coming along and provide so much help to all of us girls.

Melanie
